The printer and software keep telling me I have a paper jam. I have looked everywhere (I do mean everywhere!) for said "jam" but can't find it. I raised the cover. No jam. I opened the back cover. No jam. I opened the side cover. No jam. I disconnected the power and waited 10 minutes then reconnected the power. Still says there is a paper jam. Damn thing won't print no matter what because it keeps saying there is a paper jam. There is no paper jam.

If you are sure you really have cleared a possible jam (often hard to see) it means the paper path sensor has failed. It can be replaced but the service cost may exceed that of a new printer
Usually inkjet printers are dirty ones, its requires periodically service, better overhaul the printer. 85% of complaints will resolve in service level only, try it best off luck..
turn off you printer unplug the power cable lift you printer up while lifting, put it in an upside down position then shake your printer from left to right for about a min. or 2 then put the printer back to its normal position turn it on then check if the issue persist.
I have the same problem - every time I turn on my printer now, the alarm signal shows up with "Paper jam" but when I check for jammed paper, there is none. So I think there's something faulty with the printer. Is there any way to reset it? I've looked everywhere but can't find it.
Hopefully just has a jam. Usually people miss them under the process unit (toner) or behind the paper tray. Pull all the way out and look. If you have really looked everywhere you probably have a sensor out of place or dirty.
