SOURCE: KODAK M753 LENSE ERROR 122,1,0,0

I had this problem too, my camera just randomly stopped working and shut off. When I tried to turn it on again it said the whole 'lens error' bit and then shut of. The lens looked a bit crocked so I just gently tried to straighten it out and ta-da! Good as new!

The problem you describe is frequently the result of dirty/corroded battery contacts in the camera. Try removing the batteries and cleaning the inside contacts with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or fine sandpaper. Remove any residue left from the cleaning, then replace the batteries. Hopefully all will be well.

If the cleaning doesn't work you might want to check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

Lens won't retract

Lens probably does not extend or retract because of debris or a misaligned gear box. The lens can in about 50% of the cases be repaired without having to replace it. Try to return to manufacturer first. If you're out of warranty, there are third party place that fix them such as camera lens repairs. If you want to do it yourself, there are also free camera repair guide websites that show you how to replace the lens, the replacement part is usually available on ebay.
