I bought the new Kodak EASYSHARE 5300 printer today at Wal-mart;
I opened the printhead; I checked it and then, the printhead could not down (close) but it is freeze! and I put the ink cartridges (black and color).
the printhead could not close but, it is freeze..
Is problem with it? Will I exchange another 5300 printer?

I cannot get the printer to work on the USB cable. I have tried about everything. Seems that the drivers are there but there is something else wrong. Now what?
You guys are putting the printhead/ink tanks in wrong. Please refer to your users manual on how to install the printhead.

I changed the color cartridge and now I cannot close the printer cover. Is there a hidden latch?
Your reponse to my help question was not helpful. I know that I am putting the ink cartridges in correctly because I follow the instructions exactly - and the same thing happens every time! The printer lid won't go down. My husband has to delicately use a hand tool to get it back down and it is getting ridiculous.
I have never been this frustrated before with any other printer I have ever used and am seriously thinking about returning this product. Especially if no one at Kodak can help me! An 800 number would be helpful instead of having to write an e-mail which may or may not get answered within a week. Even more frustrating is when I did get a response blaming me for the printer's deficits!
