I have a bush tv/dvd combi LED22982DVDFHDW there is no sound and no picture, just stopped working

It could be several problems, I'll share with u a couple. All of them need a tech.[technician]
Your volume control works by adjusting the voltage\current to the speakers. The VOLUME CONTROL could be damaged\fixed at a point [even if you are raising\lowering] at high volume.Sometime the control has a crack ********\********* in such a way that the volume arm won't go past crack[see above] on HIGH volume.
The audio IC could be shorted in high volume. Sometimes the audio IC is PART of a 64 (sixty-four) pin ckt. How do u test for that if u are not a techo'

your daughter has done nothing wrong, certain dvd,s have region codes for different countries.you can program the player with your remote, but you will need the hack number.i,m looking for it myself, so if you find it,pass it on!

hi my bush modle is btv183dvd\c i live in iran but i didnot buy this in iran well i listened that this modle has code ( if you kepp the negative switch volume on your tv & in that time push & keep the number 6 on controler ) you can see very much codes please dont change thoese
but i changed thoese and know i cant search for channel and it cant show that channel that befor time show that
