Wiring for the arm head where the needle goes. Wires were unplugged by accident now not sure how to plug them back in. Rockola sybaris 474.thanks

Thee is a standard wiring connection for stylus cartridges. Looking at the rear of the cartridge, there are four connections. With the stylus point down, starting at the top left and moving clockwise:-
White wire - Left channel out (10 o'clock)
Red wire - Right channel out (2 o'clock)
Green wire - Right channel ground (4 o'clock)
Blue wire- Left channel ground (8 o'clock)

Alternately the connection arrangement could be in a vertical line with alternate pins staggered. In this arrangement looking from top to bottom it will be :-
White wire - Left channel out ( Top left)
Red wire - Right channel out (Second right)
Blue wire- Left channel ground (Third left)
Green wire - Right channel ground (Fourth right)

I hope this helps

Four wires coming from needle to cable, two are shield and two are left and right channels. Which color goes where

Actually it's not to hard to connect them. All you need is a stereo record where you know a sound of something is on the right or left channels. I use to have a Goodies LP where a one of them would say "bounce to the left" and the other said "bounce to the right" these coming on the respective channels.
To set it up just stick the red (right) on one of the cartridge pins and white - left on the opposite side - not underneath it. Then connect the other two to the pins below them. Play your test record. And if the sound which is supposed to be on the right channel come on the left - swap the two red and white wires around.
If the sound sounds (tinny spaced) out then swap the same side wires around.
So if you have say Red Green, Make it Green Red. If it is tinny only on one channel, don't switch the other channel around.
For example the right is tinny - do the above - but leave the other White Blue.
By the way some cartridges do have L and R marked on them and + and - for the channel types. " -" being for the green or blue wires.

Hey i dont know to much about amps, but me and my friend (he knows a decent amount about amps) would plug the power into the amp and the green light would come on. Though when we plug it into the subs, the...

Are you connecting positive to positive and negative to negative from the sub to the amp? If so, try positive to positve (+) in the far left channel and then the negative to negative (-) on the far left channel to. If no luck do the same in the other channel with one sub at a time. Try one sub at a time, Dont try an connect 2 or more subs to one channel as this would cause the amp to go into protect mode (red light you describe). Usually the positive wire has either a line down the wire, writting on it or has a red seperate wire with it when wire end stripped to connect it. Hope this helps and please rate...

Wiring diagram for BOSS AVA 1209 equalizer. It was given to me dont know where the 4 wires connect red, black, white, last wire is orange or pink.

Your wiring is as follow's :

The Red wire is your (+) Positive that connect's to the power source
The Black wire is your (-) Negative that connect's to the ground
The Orange wire is your Auxillary (+) that turn's on Amplifier's or Power Ant.

You should have a Green wire, a Green wire with a White stripe,a Gray wire, and a Gray wire with White stripe

The Green wire is the LEFT channel input (+)
The Green/White wire is the LEFT channel input (-)
The Gray wire is the RIGHT channel input (+)
The Gray/White wire is the RIGHT channe (-)

(BE SURE THAT YOU CONNECT THE RED (+) AND BLACK(-) WIRES BEFORE YOU CONNECT THE ORANGE WIRE TO AN AUX SOURCE OR YOU WILL BLOW THE INTERNAL FUSE !!!)

PS. I have no idea where that White wire you mentioned goes.

I have 4 speaker wires, black green red white speaker left + speaker right + speaker left - speaker right - which cable goes where?

4 speaker wires, black, green, red, white ;speaker left +speaker right +speaker left -speaker right. First see what pair of speaker wires go to left the channel of the amplifier. One of each speaker must be connected to each amplifier´s channel, no matter of colors of the wires. Two wires for each speaker to each channel of the amplifier (rear panel + and -). Then you will have 4 wires connected to 2 stereo channels of your amplifier. Two wires for each speaker.
