have you tried checking the charger with a multi-meter? this can help to see if the charger is attempting to charge the battery (in some cases the battery could have a inline fuse to replace as well try replacing it and see if the battery takes a charge if not the battery can be replaced or in some youtube videos replaced with a car's battery to run with)

Is this disc heavily scratched? If so use a disc cleaner or take it to a local game store to have them clean it for you.

Alternatively you can use an old trick of covering the shiny side with toothpaste and washing it off with cold water, however do this at your own risk. Prolonged contact with the disc could damage it.

I am having the same problem, the picture on the assembly manual does not look the same as the actual part.

can not play pet rescuse, can't get friends to help me because there are no friends name list. sick and tired of not being able to play the game. can someone help? i have no solution.to fix it. that's pet rescues job. alot of my friends are having the same trouble and are think of not playing the game anymore.
