Question about Optoma MovieTime DV10 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

My MovieTime die after two LED flash for a second after power up.

My Optoma MovieTime works fine for about a year and then suddently die. After initial power-up, the "lamp" and "temp" LED will just flash for a second which is normal and then completely die (not light, not LED, just like no-power). Anyone know a solution ? Any place to send for repair ? Thanks.

Why won't my Optoma DV10 projector won't turn on?

On an Optoma DV10 if its not the lamp timer, then it might be a cooling fan that needs replacing. Take out the old one, and look-up its part number online. If you don't feel confident taking it apart, have a qualified person do this.

My optoma dv10 movietime projector is making a buzzing noise. I am using a different power cord since i can't find the original cord. could this be the problem?

if the cord is too loose, you'll have arcing, but it'll sound like crackling. if the buzzing is from inside, it may be the colorwheel motor breaking down. it'll need to be replaced.

Just turned projector on - lights are flashing and nothing is working... can it be reset??

which lights? could be the lamp has expired, the colorwheel stopped spinning, the ballast/power supply had burned out, or the fans have stopped. if it's the lamp light, replace the lamp.
