SOURCE: SONY DSC W7 BATTERY DRAINS

To solve this open the camera and remove the battery chamber (be careful with the cable that joins the chamber with the main board because it is very fragile). Once you have the battery chamber, clean all the contacts with a contact cleaner. By all the contacts I mean, the 4 contacts for the batteries and the two contacts (male and female) that join the main board and the chamber. Be careful when you apply the contact cleaner to the main board contact bacause it is a liquid and might harm your lens if it reaches it. I have made this with my camera and worked awesome.

SOURCE: fbatteries run out really fast

Your camera probably need to be soldered together to make everything fully secured. Jus topen up the camera and use a soldering iron to fix everything or bring it to a shop and they will do it for you.

SOURCE: battery drains very fast

First, before we proffer any solution, we need to know the problem.

Before the battery drains, does the phone gets hot in any way?

If your phone gets hot, then maybe the problem is from the phone board.

But if your phone does not gets hot before battery drains, then it is obvious that the fault is from your phone battery.

The solution therefore is for you to change your battery to an original one. The same problem might persist if you don't purchase a good battery, please take note.

I wish you the best.

short battery life is contributed to these, 1. Old battery 2. Lots of apps running in the background 3. Taking lots of photos 4. Charging the phone when it does not need a full charge 5. Leaving your phone in direct heat or cold 6. Dropping the device 7. Leaking battery 8. 1 year or more old battery 9. Continuously talking and charging at the same time 10. Ensure to contact your insurance to see if the battery is protected under your plan

SOURCE: What's your problem?backup battery

first take out your phone battery and roll it on a plane surface if it turns properly then ur battery is ok if not it is not ok and need to be replaced(not sure about this i heard it from a person whose battery is bulged )
or check whether in ur phone any applications are opened.... if opened close them first then check ur phone has update or not if available update it most problems will be fixed with that.

My battery is draining very fast

Hi
May be normal if you're using alot of applications.
Also take into considerations how many hours you spend on the phone.
Take for example the internet, people who spend more time on the net experience more charge drains than those who don't.
If you feel none of the above applies to you,you may need to replace the battery.

Weird Battery life issue.

It's possible that your battery needed to be replaced. Since if the battery is not taking any charge or the battery depletes fast.. that basicly signifies that battery needs to be replaced since sometimes we can't avoid for the battery to be overcharged or we often charged them to often even if the battery still isn't drained yet. That causes for the battery to be defective or overused.

Low battery

leave the battery drained out, when pop up appear saying LOW BATT turn off the phone remove battery for 5 minutes, then reinsert but DON'T turn phone on. Leave it off and connect charger, you will see moving battery bars when charging started (sometimes takes few minutes). To fully charge the battery keave it on 4 hours.

Hi I have an Olympus SP-560UZ that eats batteries almost as fast as i can charge them. My batteries are Rechargeable NiMH 2700 and almost new. I am only able to take six to ten shots before the battery...

Hey donoman,
I am going on the assumption that these batteries are not new. Most rechargeable batteries lose their ability to hold a charge after time, and it might be time to invest in new batteries. Another cause of this could be that you are mixing older batteries with newer batteries, and by doing this the length of the charge is dependent on the weakest battery. Things that significantly affect battery life are camera flash, LCD screens, and battery temperature (the lower the temperature the quicker the battery will drain). Another thing to consider is when a rechargeable battery starts to fail they fail quickly, where disposable batteries generally have a longer life and drain at a more constant rate.

Sincerely,
Allan
