My genius mousepen 8x6 tablet had some connection

My genius mousepen 8x6 tablet had some connection problems lately. Though it worked with my laptop just a few weeks ago, it doesn't work anymore, at all. The laptop doesn't even recognize it. I've realized it also started having some problems with my desktop computer. Sometimes the connection would break all of a sudden and may reconnect after a while of unpluging and replugging and adjusting the angle and position of the USB cable. I'd appreciate it if anyone can help.
