Question about Oregon Scientific Audio Players & Recorders

Open Question

Why does the projector Oregon Scientific BAR339DPA no longer work well?

I bought a radiotelegraph watch Oregon Scientific BAR339DPA Daylight Weather Projection Clock, which worked very well for two years. After this time, the projection began to no longer be visible. Icons designed on the wall are not clear or missing segments. Can you help me please?

I have one of these, and look for the manual on the 'Net every time DST changes, and eventually figure it out. Here's how: (1) Hold down the ALM/SET button until you get past the alarm setting and you see 24H or 12H. (2) Step through the settings by pushing the ALM/SET button, changing each as desired by pressing the +/CYCLE button. Eventually you'll wind up with the time zone indication flashing (it's really tiny, and appears just below the time indication). Press the +/CYCLE until you get to the desired time zone. (3) After the screen quits flashing, press the -/DST button to get the desired setting. I hope this helps, and that I can find this post again next time change!

Why is the time on my weather station always 3 hours behind

You need to set up the correct time zone offset. For example, CST is -6; EST is -5. If daylight savings is active, time will be: CDT = -5; EDT = -4.

CST = Central Standard Time
EST = Eastern Standard Time
CDT = Central Daylight Time
and so on.

Dashes in my outdoor weather reading of Oregon Scientific station

The signals are not being received by the main unit. Try to reposition the unit or move it to a different location. Also make sure the antenna is in the clear and not next to any thing like a cordess phone or charger as these can make RF noise that can block or cover the needed signals.

Why it's not adjusting to daylight saving

It has to be set to do that. Daylight savings time is not universal, even in the U.S.
