Hi,
The best way to save your screenshot and open it in paint is to hit the Prt Scr key, open paint and you can either right click and paste or click on file in the top left and paste.
To save the shot click on file, save or save as.

Regards.

How can I take a screenshot on my laptop computer

What laptop?
What Operating System?

In windowss you can use the "Print Screen" function by pressing the "PrtScn" key on an extended keyboard. If you hold the "Alt"-key while pressing the PrtScn-key, it takes a snapshot of the currently active window.

Then you have to open a paint or Word document. Now you can paste the screenshot.

If you use Windows 7, click the Start button and type "Snipping Tool". This will start the built-in screenshot software.

What are prtscn sysRq button for

in Windows : PrtScn is stand for printScreen. You pushed the button it will capture your screen. You can save it as an image (open Paint then choose menu Edit->Paste or in MS Word just right click and then paste)

while SysreQ (to use this need to push Fn ke at the same time) can be traced back to the operator interrupt key used on IBM 3270-type console keyboards of the IBM System/370 mainframe computer[citation needed], which was used to cause the operating system such as VM/370 or MVS to allow the console to give input to the operating system.

PrtScn/sysRq button not working. suggestions?

In Windows, the print screen key actually transfers a copy of what ever you have on your screen to the "scratch pad" of your machine, then you can transfer that copy to an internal program such as "Word" (If you have Word Installed") You will not see anything until you transfer, by getting up the program, and then hitting the key Ctrl+V or going to Edit up in the left corner of the program, and selecting "Paste"

Good day, I would like to know what are the keys to do print screen with that keyboard, as the PrtScn button doesn't seem to work when pushed alone. Actually, I'm not able to do any print screen with this...

After you press PRINT-SCREEN,
click Start.
Click All Programs.
Click Accessories.
Open Paint.
Click Edit.
Click Paste.
The image that you "printed" will can be manipulated, and eventually printed, using the 'Paint' program.

What does the key with the letters PrtSc SysRq on an acer aspire do (whats its function)

if you hit just the prtsc sysrq button and open up a blank paint document, you can paste an entire screenshot into a picture document. if you hit control alt prtsc (It's short for print screen) you can take a screenshot of just the current window.

Please give me 4 thumbs if this helped!
