A. The drum is not
being charged.The
charger corona wire is probably broken or not making good electrical
contact. The
charger corona wire may be part of the toner cartridge. Try
uninstalling
and reinstalling the toner cartridge. If that doesn’t work, try
another toner cartridge.
Brand New T652n lexmark printer get a paper jam every time! just opened and haven't been able to print one paper. Doesn't matter if you print from tray one or tray two. It gets stuck right after the rollers pick it up and try to send it to the toner. Any suggestions? I've tried to reseat the toner, plain paper, sized the paper correctly, I've tried just about everything I can think of! I can feed paper manually through the top tray, and it will print. But, just using the manual tray defeats the purpose of the other two trays. Anyone else having this issue?
Hi ,
The print engine has failed to pick up a piece of media. There is a paper jam in the printer's paper path. Reload the paper in the paper input tray; verify that there are no jams in the paper path, and press MENU/ENTER to continue the job. If the error persists, replace the printer pickup roller. Check paper path, including rear output door for jams, fuser area, and under the print (toner) cartridge.
Easiest step to do would be replace your toner.
Next Step is 1/2 self test page. This means start a print job and
after the paper is picked up open the toner cartridge door and cause a
jam. The paper that you see after you remove the toner will show the
current print. If the mark is seen on the paper there then it is the
toner cart. If you dont see it on the paper then it is most likely
your fuser causing the issue.
Well - I don't know if this will solve it (since there could be many causes) but it worked for me.
1 - Remove Paper Tray
2 - look at rubber rollers in printer undercarriage
3 - carefully remove "rubber bands" from roller
4 - turn rubber bands inside out and carefully return to rollers
the roller trick helps the printer pick up paper
the toner/print drum trick helps reseat the inner workings of the printer correcting any misalignments that impede paper flow
