Blue lights flashing can not get to reset

Hey Troy, I understand that you are having problems with your Electrolux Dual-fuel Range. Have you recently installed the range or had a power outage? When the range is first plugged in, or when the power supply to the range has been interrupted, the indicator lights will flash and the control will beep. To stop the lights from flashing, turn the selector control knob to BAKE and back to OFF. You can also attempt a hard reset by unplugging or turning the household power breaker off to the appliance for five to ten minutes. If the problem persists, please reach out to a professional technician. Hope this helps! -JK

I have an Electrolux gas oven free standing that will not light. The red indicator does not glow when the temperature dial is turned on. It has an oven timer, Is the problem the igniter or is there a fuse...

Hello Ray, thanks for your inquiry!

I see that you are having trouble with your Electrolux gas range not lighting properly for oven functions. This could be an issue with your igniter, burner, or control panel. I would suggest performing a reset on your range and you can do that by disconnecting the power from it for roughly ten minutes. You might want to get assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repairs will require disassembly of your range. A technician will have the appropriate tools needed to diagnosis the range and pinpoint the issue. This will also help prevent any future issues or unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Just started renting house that has the Maytag Performa Electric Range and I noticed last night that the "on indicator" light is on (and still on tis morning); however, none of the burners nor the sto

The pilot indicator is powered by a contact in the thermostat or control board. It is usually not powering the oven but it could be allowing 120 volts to the element this would make the oven very warm. If you unplug the stove for a while and then plug it back in and the oven gets warm again I would have it checked. It may be drawing power.

Hi When I try to light the gas oven, it will light but as soon as I release the button the flame goes out

Are you giving the thermocouple time to warm up?
You have to hold the oven knob in for a while to warm the thermocouple before the oven will stay alight. If you are doing this then the thermocouple needs replacing.

See my other posts for a link and price as it was at that time.

Arg7600 oven won't light. Glow plug works. No gas.

This typically indicates the Hot surface ignitor (glow plug) is weak, and needs to be replaced. Even though it glows, it simply doesn't generate the amperage required to open the gas valve. These two compnents work in series, when the igintor becomes to corroded it cannot draw enough current to sufficiently power the magnetic coil in the gas valve. replace the ignitor and let me know when the turkey is ready ! :)

Rangemaster 110 gas cooker - RH Oven lights but doesn't heat up

Will the flame go out if you turn the control knob to the off position?

Sometimes gas cooking control knobs have two seperate types of control in the one knob. One control turn the gas on or off, one adjusts the variable quantity of gas allowed through a gap to your flame jets. Some control knobs can get gummed up and stick a little. The can be fixed by carefully taking apart the control knob, taking note of EXACTLY how everything goes back together and cleaning any gummed up bits. Then reassemble the knob and drizzle soapy water over the control to test for leaks. A leaky gas join blows bubbles and makes noise. Let me know if this fixes the problem.
