SOURCE: GE side by side by side, water drips from bottom freezer door

I have the same problem. Just talked to a friend that's a great appliance repairman. he said I have to remove the panel in the back inside of freezer and there is a drain that gets clogged up, a little hole or tube.
clean that and should work fine and stop leaking. I haven't had time yet, but this weekend I'll do the deed. Hopes this helps ya!

SOURCE: I was changing my filter in the ge filtration

The red button is a pressure relieve valve. If the system is leaking from the valve, try pushing the valve up from the underside of the cap where the valve is located. If this does not work the housing needs to be replaced. You do not have to replace this with a name brand like GE. All you need to do is make sure the housing that you are purchasing is the same size.

Water filter keeps popping out

Too high of pressure I the water supply. The lines may have frozen up. If you can I would defrost the freezer and leave the water on and try to cycle it through until you get good water flow. Then throw the filter back in and see how it gos. Good luck

We have a hayward xstream pool pump for our 18' above ground pool that my daughter got through make a wish last august. we cleaned the cartridge yesterday and when we replaced the cartridge it started...

Try taking the pool filters cartridge out and following these steps to make sure that it is installed properly.
1. Clean debris from bottom of filter tank.
2. Replace element evenly on the collector hub in bottom of the filter body.
3. Place lid evenly on filter body and turn Easy-Lokâ„¢ ring clockwise until the safety latches engage securely.
4. Close and secure drain plug (located at the base of filter body).
5. Open air relief valve (Turn lever to left).
6. Open valves (Optional suction & return valves).
7. Prime and start the pump.
8. Once air has escaped the filter and a steady stream of water is flowing from the air relief valve, close the air relief valve and note the pressure gauge reading.

THE PRESSURE ON MY FILTER KEEPS SPIKING. I TOOK

There may be a calcium build up on the fingers, and just cleaning them will not remove the calcium. I would disassemble filter again, then give the fingers an acid bath. Mix about 50 -50 muriatic acid and water and let elements sit in a bucket with the mixture for 15 or 20 minutes, then reassemble and see if this fixes problem. (the quick test is to let the pressure get real high, than add some acid to the skimmer and see if that lowers the pressure at all)

I have a Hayward de 3600, DE powder is getting into the pool, any suggestions?

You will need to take the filter apart and check the grids, the manifold and the internal air bleed. If you have'nt done this in more than a year that can cause your grids to go bad. Or if your pool has gone green and you ran it before killing all the alge this will hurt your grids also. After you get it apart check the grids for holes or tears and see if the frames inside the grids are broken in any way. Check the air bleed the same way, and see if their are any cracks in the manifold. If any of these things are a problem they will need to be replaced. If alge is a problem you need to kill it before you can clean it out of the pool. Do this by super chlorination. And be sure to break down your filter and hand clean it at least once a year. Hope this helps.

Unable to get water clear last season could it be faulty pump

Although the chips inside the pump could decrease the efficiency i doubt that this is why you were unable to get the pool clear. What type of filter do you have, how old is the media inside it, and was the water just cloudy, or did you have algae problems?

Cannot put D.E. filter grids in correct order

Yes it is very tricky...i always start with the small one because it goes where the pipe goes down. try putting the bottom bracket into the filter and starting with the small one and see what you come up with.

Gevalia CM-500 12 cup problem.

Underneath the hot pad that the carafe sits on, there are two thermal fuses that are inside tubes that are clamped to the heating element with spring clamps.

Remove the bottom of the unit (5 screws), unclamp the thermal fuse tubes, slide the tubes to one side and check the each fuse with an ohmmeter. If one of them is open, that's your problem.
