    Hi Everyone,
i recently bought a JVC TH-BY370 sound bar
It worked fine in store when tested witg USB and bluetooth, but when i brought it home and plugged it into TV and later on straight into my Cable Box/Dstv decoder, i found that the volume was extremely soft.
after a bit of troubleshooting i found a solution to the problem, my setup is as follows Cablebox-TV-Pc Media center-Sound bar. I found that the sound needed to be amplified so i used my PC as an amplifier using Realtek Hd Audio manager. So from my Cablebox/Dstv decoder i have Hdmi running to the Tv from the Tv I'm using and Aux cable into my pc media centre via Line in and out of the media center via the Speaker output to the Sound bar. In Realtek HD audio manager Turn all the volume bars to max in speaker options and Line in options and also the normal volume control in the task bar to max.
hope this helps all of you! :)

You just need to connect an Audio Out port on the back of your TV to an Audio In port on the back of your JVC box. See what connections you have, I'm sure there are lots of options for you such as HDMI or just normal 2-cord audio cables.

SOURCE: cannot get sound from tv to surround sound speakers

you will need to connenct audio cables red and white from audio out on tv or from programming source(cable box sat box) to the audio in on back of jvc unit. then set unit to appropiate source (where you connect cables on back of unit it will be labaled and remote will have button to get to that connection labeled the same) if you want to get digital sound you will need and digital coaxial or fiber optical cable from source(cable box or sat box) and then set unit to video 1 for coaxial and video 2 for optical

SOURCE: Connecting TV, cable decoder and xr29m80

you have two choices. a newer connection you must have on both devices is a optical connection. if you have this buy a digital optic cable.

if you dont have this connection. look for a red and white connection on both devices this is just a simple audio lead .
To recieve the sound through the speakers after you have installed the leads make sure the home cinema function is set to "tv"

SOURCE: no sound from JVC do have sound from TV connected

hey man my names josh i used to work in home theatre if you can clarify what your problem is i can walk you through it my cell is 832 248 4144 on thing thing yo want to check with that no sound being produced out of of hdmi is to make sure that the port that you have it running to on your tv does not have a set of analog jacks next to it. if thats the case you want get your sound cause you will have to run sound with your hdmi next to that port on the tv that is if your tv has that function and providing you have more than one hdmi port on your tv it will most be the first port you have it pluged into if not you may need to check your wiring and your pre sets on the tv as well as your wiring that your have going to every thing cause i cant promise you that everyting may be hook up like it should but i can straiten that up for ya like i said my name is josh and my cell is 832 248 4144

How to get sound to tv from JVC TH-M606 without sub woofer. Also trying to put in progressive mode without remote

Hi,
  • If I understand your question correctly you want to listen your TV on your Stereo system thru your receiver,JVC TH-M606 ** you need to connect "Audio Output " RCA jacks or "Optic cable output" of your TV
** to "AUX input " or "TV" OR "Any input" of your receiver ( except Phone ) or "Optic Cable input"
** than just switch to respective mode on
JVC TH-M606 RECEIVER corresponding your RCA or Optic connection...
There you go..Your TV sound is on the
JVC TH-M606 Receiver..By this means whatever you watch on the TV (tuner, satellite , Xbox ) ,it's sound will come thru your stereo..

  • If you want to listen your receiver thru your TV, sorry but it is not a preferable attempt since TV sound system is not a HI-FI quality compare to your nice Receiver..if you really want to do it,try to do the connections given above in reverse..
  • And,best of my knowledge I am afraid you can not put in progressive mode without remote

  • Hope this helps!
