T.V shuts off and power light blinks.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, [Exclude the model number] in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Rca hd52w59 chirping sound and light 3 times no picture

chirping sound is a short of some kind, could be the flyack or horizontal output, could also be a bad picture tube or power supply capacitors, you really need a tv repairman to troubleshoot this.

My tv has a dinosaur in it.

Its a raptor most likely. But seriously, when these RCA TVs go into shutdown or fail to power up, they will try 3 times to re-establish operation. Your problem can be caused by a number of circuits. The power supply itself may be bad or the high voltage/ deflection circuit. You can visually inspect the circuit board. Some failures in these TVs will cause obviously damaged components like burned resistors and the like. The problem here is that most anything that will fail will cost some serious money. Expect to spend $300-500 to repair it or consider replacing it.

Power failure lost tv

The chirpping noise is significant, it means that the smps is loading down because of a direct short, possibly in the horz. output transistor. But that is most likely not all the problem or the damage. It wasn't losing the power that hurt it was getting it back and the power most likely spiked with enough of a surge to damage the LSB (Large Signal Board)... I've seen at least a half dozen of these in the last six months with the same scenerio and the only repair for this is to replace the LSB, unfortunately they are no longer available so the next best thing is to have it rebuilt.
The part number of the LSB is 313503712571 and at Vance Baldwin they're $353.00 with a $30.00 core plus shipping. You're better off having the shop tear it down and send the board directly into PTS Electronics. At least you've got a rough idea what you're facing..
Hope this helps!

Green Power light blinks but no picture or sound with a chirping noise

That chirp is your ballast trying to fire the lamp. Sounds to me like you need a new lamp. The model should be TY-LA1000. Keep in mind though that the ballast could also be faulty, but 85% of the time it's a lamp. Pull the cover off the unit and remove the lamp. More often than not, when the lamp goes it'll actually break and be obvious.

PT-43LC14 No Picture, chirping sound when turned on

Most of the time, when there is a chirping comming from a TV set, there is a short somewhere inside the TV set. That chirping noise is the TV's power supply starting up and shutting down because of a heavy load on the power supply. These sets have no user replaceable parts inside them, so play it safe, and call out a pro to assist you in this repair. good Luck PS Please do not forget to rate this thread.
