The barrel should be all you need to clean, to do this just run a snake down the barrel and pull out the other end. Unless it is a semi-auto then you should not ever have to clean internal mechanisms.

Look at red-dot optics. You don't really need magnification with a shotgun and you will want something you can get on target quickly.

Savage 270 the bolt will not on all the way down to the locking postion what maybe the problem.It is a axis rifle

check the size and quality of the rounds used as it indicates that the shell rim is too thick to allow full engagement of the bolt

I need a manual for a j. Stevens 32cal crack shot rifle. I took it all apart to clean it a long time ago and have since forgotten parts placement. Silly, but that's what I did.
