I will guess you remember tube sets from our parents days !
They stopped being Mfr'd in 1972 !
Best solution for your set = replace horiz transformer and
transistor with RCA part # 's 257807 & 237470................T.

Was working fine last night ,went to turn it on and you can hear a buzzing by where you plug in your jacks a bee,or high pitch has no picture or sound.only sound you hear is this buzzing

Sounds like your power supply is causing the problem. Unplug the TV wait 10 minutes, look in the back for a red button (circuit breaker) push it in. If this does not work you have a low voltage power supply fault.

My magnavox tv is making a buzzing sound, no picture, and wont change channels (just a dark screen)

Something has shorted in the set causing the power supply to make that buzzing sound. Most likely the short is in the horizontal circuit. The horizontal makes the high voltage work which in turn lights the picture tube.

Tube does not turn on

If TV model is Sony KV-32HS420 then mostly it requires to replace 2 ICs on DZ board, let me know if you can replace ICs on circuit board and know about TV repair to provide you more technical info.

Buzzing Noise and TV picture is yellow

Andy, I'm thinking the buzz is from the deflection coil (yoke) on the neck of the tube or the power supply. Probably not the high voltage as you can hear the "buzz". If it's really that annoying, you can take a length of rubber tubing (no metal) and listen to the buzz coming from the chassis kind of like a stethoscope. STAY AWAY FROM THE HIGH VOLTAGE, please. The yellow picture sounds like a blue chroma failure. A tube can be rejuvinated if need be but that's a job for a pro. Hope this helps.

Picture went out and all the tv does is make a buzzing sound

The horizontal output transistor drives a transformer that gives you the high voltage to light up the picture tube, either the transistor or the transformer have gone bad, sometimes both have to be replaced and sometimes the transistor fails for no reason by itself.Be safe and call for help if you are not familiar with tv service.
