SOURCE: Lint Filter Light comes on and cycle is interupted

I just found that the filter itself was not allowing airflow- I tested by blowing through it with my mouth- no airflow. I cleaned it with a high pressure air hose and noticed that the flow is much better now. I cleaned it by hand several times, and washing in water (which may have made theproblem).

SOURCE: Clean Dryer Lint Vent in Kenmore elite HE4

If you wish to clean the interior cabinet of the dryer follow these steps:

1. UNPLUG the dryer. Dangerous voltages are still present even with the dryer turned off.

2. Open the dryer door and remove the lint screen. IMPORTANT: You must remove the lint screen first in order to remove the blower fan housing.

3. Remove the lower toe panel directly below the dryer door by removing the screws under the bottom front edge of the panel. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off. NOTE: For better access, you can prop the front feet of the dryer up (a 2x4 works well).

4. Loosen the screws on the blower fan housing directly below the drum and remove. There's usually a small clip holding the cover in at the bottom that you may need to pull out to release. NOTE: You may also have to disconnect the auto dry sensor plug (yellow wires with white plug - use a small screwdriver to release the locking tabs) and/or ground wire to accommodate removal of the cover.

You should now have access to the dryer interior and the blower fan squirrel cage motor. Take the time to clean out the blower fan housing cover as well. A long bristle brush made for dryers works well at removing any lint inside the dryer in the hard to reach places, followed by vacuuming.

NOTE: After cleaning, you may experience a slight burning odor. This is normal as lint gets stirred up in the cleaning process and can settle on the heating components. The odor should dissipate after a short period of use.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt 500 series gas dryer lint building up inside dryer

Absolutely those dryer sheets are the root of all evil....I would also recommend a good vent brush to clean your dryer vent.
Follow these steps, it worked for me:
1. use a shop vacuum to clean out the dry vent or a vent brush.
2. Clean your lint filter with windex, hot water and and soft bristle brush.
If this doesnt work try running the until disconnected from the vent for a cycle to isolate the vent as your issue

Where is the lint filter on Speed Queen...

You didn't say if it was top or front loading and did not include a model number. The model number is usually on a tag that is covered by the lid or door.
As far as I know most washers do not filter out lint during the wash but rely on the lint being suspended in the wash water and expelled with the dirty and rinse waters. Many do have filters in the drain that do need to be cleaned at times but the symptom is usuall a slow drain or not draining.

Speedqueen does not wash clean. Always white fluff on clothes. Is there a filter to clean

Clean you 'lint filter' - see your instruction booklet or if you don't have it google your washing machine model and see where the lint filter is and how to clean it. It's usually a small pouch on top on the steel drum that you have to slide out and clean.
Hope this helps.

Speedqueen flame stays on for only 30 seconds then goes out, puffs back towards gas valve

when was the last time you cleaned out the dryer and vent line,if the air can't move to the outside vent the gas will shut down, remove the vent line from the back of dryer to see if it runs longer, also clean out the duct where the lint filter slides into,it sounds like you have lint blockage either in the dryer or in the vent line.

Speed Queen dryer burner lights but does not dry clothes

This is a symptom of a severely clogged up vent or dryer passages.
Remove the vent duct hose from the back of the dryer and see if the problem persists. If it workes normally clean out the ducting and the through the wall flapper vent.
If the problem persists then remove the lint filter and inspect the air passages inside the dryer. Also check the exit hole where the vent duct connects for lint buildup. Use a crevice tool / vacuum to clear all dryer passages. If necessary use a folded coat metal hanger to assist in removing lint build up.

Wash the lint filter with whie wine vinegar and then soap and water to remove the dryer sheet particulate matter that builds up on the lint filter.

If the burner lights but goes out after 30 seconds then the flame sensor on the top of the burner assy ducting is bad.

Thanks for using FixYa.
