3000 is series not a specfic PC, at all.
ill guess 15-3000. 15" screen.
came new with windows 10. is this your PC? im guessing see?
if windows 10 has lost PW, just it. and only has 1 account (bad)
then ms.com will tell you to reload the OS
but the only other choices (besides shop work)
is hacker disk so the next question is do you have data to lose
yes or now? only you know that, is it all on the CLOUD
we dont know that either nor any of the below, PW vagueness.

This 1 millionth post here asking for forgotten passwords!
and not one hint as to which if the 6 screens ask this.
not a clue. and like all answers all are wrong guessing what you see, we can not see your screen can we, so post a photo of the failing screen and get accurate answers .
why ask us ,we are not dell.com dell is dell. ok?
we have no back door PW here, zero. (and is illegall to tell you due to new laws here and EU)

the 6 ways from sunday, PW H3LL

http://pcdied.com/passwords.html

photos here are easy
grab that cell phone shoot the screen
then click below PHOTOS and upload it
just 2 steps, so easy, more easy than any other forum.

bios admin can correct lost bios user Pw.
hdd, bitlocker PW or hdd encrytion Pw is impossible.
windows can be cracked, from all version up to w8
w10 is vastly more harder to crack and with newer updates
every day? harder, w10 is and endless work of art now.
But no OS stated by you. nor what screen you see , exactly.

Can you log on in safe mode (hold F8 on bootup and select safe mode without networking)? Are you running Windows XP? You could try using system restore to go back to a time before the problem started. Is your hard drive volume name longer than 11 characters?

SOURCE: Dell XPS M1210 Administrator password and password log on problem

This is a known vista issue where it creates a backup of your profile for some reason there registry edits to try and fix it but a system restore is much easier. Follow the below steps to solve problem.

Turned computer on and immediately pressed F8 repeatedly until I got "Advanced Boot Options" select "Safe Mode" computer then opens safe mode login as admin if possible, with a "Help" window, in the help window there is an underlined "What is System Restore?" then select "Click to open System Restore" restore to a previous state before which the fault occurred.
Click OK and after config changes should be good to go.

Administrator password

You may have to contact Dell directly if its a hard drive or BIOS password.
I do know using a Windows 7 install disc will repair this error (if you can get past the password). Just insert and choose repair. gl

Have dell inspiron 9300 laptop that will not load personal settings what should i do passed hardware diagnotics using F12

Are you the Administrator of the computer? You could have a infection of many types.
If your not the Administrator. Log in safe mode.
Restart or start the computer.
As soon as it starts to boot hit the F8 key - keep hitting the key till you see Safe mode options.
Start in Safe mode with networking
Now the log in screen should show a Administrator log in that you may not have seen before.
Log in to that Administrator. Shouldn't be Password protected.
Once inside you can change your account to administrator.
Click START< >Control panel> then look for User Accounts
Look at your User account and make sure or change it to Administrator control..

Hope this helps

Remove administrator Password.

Ask someone that has administrative privileges to log on, and from there you can view everyone's password.

I need help getting past my windows account user password. please help!

If it is asking for a password, then you will have to enter the password. Othewise, you won't get past it.
If you have Windows XP, you can start in safe mode and log on as administrator--chances are it's not password protected. Most people forget to put a password on it. Then you can change or remove your password.

When your computer boots and the login screen appears press control(ctrl) + alt + delete twice. This will bring up a window asking you for your username and password.
Type "administrator" without the quotes as the username and leave the password field blank. Press OK.
When you are logged in as an administrator change the password for your old username using control panel>user accounts.

If this doesn't work then you need to reset the administrator password. Visit this link -> >LINK<

Want me to sign on as administrator

Ok.. log out of your current user [not "switch user"] ... then press (CTRL + ALT + DEL) twice, you'll have a place to type "administrator" with a blank password...

Do whatever you want to do then logout usually and the administrator login will be gone.

You can use "Hiren's Boot CD" to remove the Administrator Password if it has one...
