What part of the arm...most limbs heal by themselves and although the iguana may be slightly deformed for life they do fine ...as long as the proper diet and lighting is provided.
LIGHTING: You must provide a UVB specific lamp so the iguana can process the calcium in the diet to make bones strong.....no UVB lamp = weak and broken bones and deformities. Thats why they bask in the sun ...to get the UVB rays and process the calcium. Look up the disease called Metabolic Bone disease in reptile (MBD)

Go to the Green Iguana society to learn so much more ...care ...diet ... lighting.
Go to Mega Ray (Reptile UV) and order a proper lamp....100 watt SB (self ballast ) 120 volt or get a ZOO MED POWERSUN 100 watt -160 watt.
If your iguana already has signs of MBD they can be reversed with the proper diet and lighting. Don't become another statistic...research info about the proper care......and try to arrange some out door time in the sun ...early morning or late afternoon....20 minutes in the sun is equal to about 8 hrs under a man made lamp, so I have been told.

You will need a fluorescent bulb that emits UVB light for 10-12 hours a day.

Fire belly toads should not be exposed to too much UVB light. The best way to control this is to use a fluorescent reptile lamp specifically designed for frog habitats that emit 3-6% UVB light. This bulb will need to be replaced every 6 months.

Natural sunlight is very important for a reptile; however it should not be used in place of a proper heating source. UVB rays cannot pass through the glass of your reptile's tank, so you will definitely need a source of UVB light.
