A standard control panel reset should work:
1. Find the Start/Stop button on the panel
2. Press and hold for 3 seconds to cancel any "stuck" program that thinks it's running.
3. Wait 10 seconds.
4. Press and hold for 7 seconds to reset.

Don't be too stingy with those timings ;)

I have tried what you suggested but lights are staying on can you suggest something else I can try

  • cornfuzzle Sep 25, 2018

Sorry - that's the standard "user" solution. I hope someone else can help otherwise you'll need to make a service call. (That's ok if it's under warranty but otherwise I'd get an estimate before someone heads out your way.)

I hate to mention this, but I assume you have turned off the power supply and left it for a few minutes. Thought I'd mention it just in case.

Purple light is on and cycle won't start

It's possible that you have put the dishwasher into delay mode. Try powering off at the powerpoint as this will force a reset of all programming.

The pause/start button also sets the Delay Start feature which can delay the start of a wash program
from 1 to 12 hours.

To cancel Delay Start
Press the I button.

My Beko DW600 dishwasher heater is stuck on!

You can't reset them, you just buy and fit a new one. The contacts can arc and they stick together.

Just installed beko dw600 dishwasher and ran empty on economy cycle as directed. After 4hours machine still running? Do you physically have to switch machine off?

The econo cycle is the shortest cycle on the dish washer. You have a mainboard issue with it or something. Most cycles on newer dishwashers take 2 hours.

My beko dishwasher is not rinsing properly, we add rinse aid and salt and the pots still come out with **** on then and are not being cleaned properly even on the hottest wash

Try running a dishwasher cleaner through it, it will break down any built up residue in the machine, with using salt to soften the water it can build up in places and reduce water flow.

Water won't drain

Do the diagnostic test:
SHU 53 MODELS

To start test program, press and hold both SCRUB WASH and DELICATE/ECONO program buttons, then turn unit on by pressing ON/OFF button. Initially, control module version # will be displayed (e.g./ ?21? = version 1 with jumper). When wash program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button.
To check each program indicator light, press its button. To check Cycle Countdown display, Refill Rinse Agent light and REGULAR WASH light, press REGULAR WASH button (press Delay Start button to test Cycle Countdown display alone). Cycle Countdown display will show “88′ when REGULAR WASH button is pressed and “8h” when Delay Start button is pressed.
To start testing, press both the SCRUB WASH and DELICATE/ECONO buttons a second time. When testing has ended, Cycle Countdown display will show a fault using codes below. If more than one fault occurs, code numbers will be added together, (e.g./ ?6? = faults 2 + 4).
0 = No faults detected 2 = Heating fault 8 = NTC (temperature sensor) fault
1 = Aqua Sensor (“Sensotronic”) fault 4 = Filling fault F = Filling fault (display occurs during wash, not test)
To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil, measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.
If water level switch (f1) has failed (opened), display will show fault code “4′ and unit will continually fill and drain where testing won’t be completed. If flow switch (e5) has failed (opened), display will show “0′, water won’t heat (to 150?F) and water won?t stop circulating. If NTC probe (f2/f4) has failed (opened), display will show fault code “8′ immediately and testing will end shortly after water has started circulating.
---------
The dishwasher not draining is most probably faulty drain pump or drain hose is got bit loose. It has to be checked and confirmed
.You can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com
Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

G879 Miele dishwasher does not startup

I found the solution by phoning Miele. You just have to reset as follows: switch on with program 2 and 3 pushed in. Then push top solo twice. Switch off and on again. The Miele is ready to go.
