Hello, can anyone tell me what part(s) I need to fix this? Vizio E70-C3. This slowly appears after powering on.

You break it even more and say it was an accident and hope to god they will say yes and you can get a new one(refund)

Look at the cables that come from the T-con board. They may be dislodged slightly. If they look ok then the screen is gone.

Unfortunately, it's probably the controller board, but still could be the power supply board.

Get a quote from a TV repair shop, should be able to quote without bringing it in for both scenarios . Check reviews on the repair shop.

Don't open it up yourself! There are hazardous voltages even when the TV is unplugged!

Try a Hard Reset first.

Note: To perform a hard reset on a Vizio Smart TV, you will need to use the remote.

Unplug your router.
Press the menu button on your Vizio remote.
Navigate to System on the menu and select OK.
Select Reset & Admin and select OK.
Select Reset TV to Factory Defaults and select OK.

Vizio e70-e3 lftrvrct : red/black left half image.

Double check the flat ribbon connectors going from the panel boards to be sure they're all connected correctly, if they are the panel was damaged when it was handled, or from static, if grounding bands aren't worn it's quite easy to damage it from static.

Hello, we replaced out the backlights for the Vizio e70-e3, but when we finished the screen would power on, but remain completely dark. So what can be causing this problem.

Its probly wornout....may cost more to fix. New ones r cheap at wal*. Heat kills tvs so hav a small fan in back to turn on as needed

Vizio E70 C3 power button doesn't work

The button on the back of the tv is a multi function type. It can be used to turn on/turn off/change inputs. Press it once to turn on the tv, press and hold to turn off the tv. Look at page 11 of the owners manual for a full description of the switch.
