SOURCE: Samsung Led TV UN55D6000. Half the screen is darker than the other. In a blue screen you can clearly see two yellowish bars. It was fine last night.

You have lost some of your PIXEL's Power Problem or Faulty Screen. All of the options are not good

Why dos tv still blinking red with no power

If you pull the plug out of the wall, it should stop. Otherwise it's a reminder that you have switched it off by handset but it is still live. If the TV works ok, ignore it, it is probably just an economy reminder. If the TV does NOT work, you may have a fault on the power supply board. Have you read the manual to see if it mentions the red light?

PIP function does not work, the settings is greyed out also! I have a wii, PS3 and freesat :)

Hi nikkicollier,
PiP for your TV works between two different sources. This means between a component source and an HDMI source or between an HDMI source and another HDMI source. PiP also works with a PC connection, e.g. when using the TV as a computer display. PiP does not work between two component sources. The setting will be grayed out when you don't have a configuration that is supported, as the Samsung TV's are usually able to automatically detect which sources are plugged in and available.

I'm not exactly sure what sort of configuration you want your PiP to work in, but try one of the following configurations.
  • TV Cable (through VCR or other via Component input) with Satellite in PiP (via HDMI input)
  • PS3 (via HDMI Input) with Satellite in PiP (via Component Input)
  • Wii via HDMI Input) with PS3 in PiP (via HDMI Input)
You can usually find an HDMI cable for much cheaper at an electronics supplies shop, Radio Shack, or on eBay or Gumtree.
To change your PiP settings:
  1. Press the MENU button on the remote control. Select Picture and press Enter.
  2. Select PIP and press Enter.
  3. Press the enter button again, and press up or down to change the setting to On and press enter again.
    Note:
If PIP is activated the screen will display in widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio.)
  4. Press the up or down buttons to select the Source then press the Enter button.
Select the source of the sub-picture by pressing the up and down arrows and then pressing the Enter button.
Note: The sub-picture can serve different source selections based on the what the main source is set to.
    Note:
You may notice that the picture in the PIP window becomes slightly unnatural when you use the main screen to view a game or karaoke.
You can download the full PDF manual for your TV here (large download at 26MB.) Much of the PIP information can be found on pages 13 and 14.
Good luck, I hope that helps.

How do I hook up PIP on my Samsung 60 inh Series 6 LED TV. Pictures and instructions please. Thank You!

The manual is here... http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201007/20100708133121375/BN68-02698Q-00Eng-0607.pdf The PIP instructions are on page 20.

The PIP will function using one source (thru Component, HDMI, etc.) and another being the TV tuner. THE PIP by default is thru the TV Tuner.

Good luck!

How too make work the small pip on a 52" LCD HD tv samsung

All pip or pop features must have 2 seperate and distinct video sources. With your tv you can choose to have cable split with a 2-way splitter and one feed to cable box and the other directly to a second ant connection on back of tv. If you only have 1 rf input on tv then your second source would have to be from a vcr or dvd etc. once you have 2 seperate sources going you select pip and choose what source you want and both main screen and pip screen will appear. obviously you will only have audio on main screen so if you want to hear pip you have to switch back and forth.

Does the smt-h3270 cable box have pip

No it doesn't according to TWC. I have a 3270 and it doesn't support it. I got this info from the local TWC president. You can have PIP if your TV supports it by splitting the signal and watching it on another input.

Picture inside a picture on my TV screen

The PIP (picture-in-picture) setting can easily be reversed if you look on your tv for the PIP button or for the same button on your remote. If neither of these works then you may want to check your TV's operation manual for the PIP setting .

PICTURE IN PICTURE (PIP)

Samsung say;
The feature only works on the AV/PC channels and not on a single tuner (digital or analogue) and only if your AV source (Sky Box/Freeview/Dvd ect.) is connected to the TV by way of the RGB or HDMI connections.
Good Luck
