    My dryer Kenmore Mod. 11063954101.

    If I relase the star buttom the dryer will stop and if I keep pushing the star b. the drum will rotate but no heat.

    I had replace the thermal cutoff kit # 279769 but did not correct the problem. Can you help me please with this problem?

    this machine is powered eratically. Thereafter, it works for an undetermined

    I have a similiar problem.  My start button won't start the dryer.  If I hold the button down for 3-8 minutes then the dryer will stay on.  My clothes are not drying very well either.

For heat issue I had replaced the heat relay switch a year ago and that worked. For the start button holding issue I replaced the motor relay switch and the dryer is fine again.

I have the same problem with my Kenmore Elite dryer (model#110.74992300), and I replaced both the motor and heater relay and the problem solved. You can get the relay from www.mouser.com for $3 each. The model for the relay is T9AP1D52-48. You may want to open up the dryer to verify the relay model, it is printed on the relay.
