Question about HP Compaq Evo Notebook N600c
I have A compaq evo n600c. When I turn it on the first thing that comes up is a power-on password. I odnt have the password. Howdo i get past this or reset it so i can access the computer?
You'll need to get under the keyboard or open some of the available openings on the bottom of the laptop.
What you're looking for is a battery. This is known as the CMOS battery. Once removed, power on the computer.
If it doesn't prompt you for the password, then you have successfully erased the memory.
Hope this helps :)
