Cannot get GPS signal when travelling for Shinco GM3505 how can I update?

I suggest connected the device at pc and try using the Shinco GM350 Utility (Download for the most up to date version) (middle page).

Also could check other details in shincoav.com.hk/shinco/html/eng/mapupdate/reg.

Hope helps; keep us updated.

I am trying to get a users manual for a Shinco pmp 1700 multi media portable player.

Hello,

I've not been able to find a digital copy of the user manual for you, your best bet is to contact shinco for a user manual and see if they can send you one over email or mail you a physical copy.

Here is their email address [email protected]

you can also try

HC SHINCO (USA), INC.
330 Turnbull Canyon Road, City of Industry

Internet connection

I think you have the software LELA (linksys easylink advisor) installed in your computer. Sometimes if it's not updated you it will prompt that you're not connected to the internet though you have internet access.

Solutions:
1) update your LELA - go to linksys.com/download
there's a field there that says enter model/serial number - just type in LELA - then click enter
- on the next page - click on get downloads then select version 3.1
- below there's an option that says download and drivers and you can see there LELA 3.1 just click on the download link and save it in your desktop folder

note: it's quite a big file - more than 200Mb
- before you install it make sure you uninstall the old LELA in your computer
- to uninstall it - just go to add/remove programs then remove linksys easylink advisor

hope this helps... Tech what you want

I have a linksys router model #wrt1601 I'm trying

LELA is a software to help you set up router. But that software has lot of issues. It will be better if you uninstall that software and change the settings of your router manually.
it is very easy to change the settings manually.

Exception from HRESULT: 0x88980406

There are known issues with the Linksys EasyLink Advisor (LELA). It is a very buggy piece of software that ends up causing a conflict with windows manager as indicated by your specific 0x error code. It is supposed to take the hassle out of setting up your wireless network using Linksys devices, but as you can see this isn't always the case.

The best thing to do, if you are technically inclined, is to uninstall LELA and manually configure your wireless network or hire a teenaged geek to do it for you. If you cannot do this, then try the following (no guarantees):
1. Download the latest version of LELA at http://update.linksys.com/lela/install/lela.exe and save it to your desktop.
2. If you're using XP then go to Start >> Control Panel, click on "Add/Remove Programs", find "Liknsys EasyLink Advisor" and uninstall it. If using Vista, go to Start >> Control Panel, click on "Programs", click on "Programs and Features", find "Linksys EasyLink Advisor" and uninstall it.
3. Reboot your computer.
4. Reinstall LELA by clicking on the LELA file you downloaded in step 1.

Shinsonic dvd 100a code locks

Hi,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me".

Unfortunately, very little technical information is known about the Shinsonic brand. From what little I can gather, it is a re-brand of HC Shinco Int'l. PTE Ltd., Singapore. Perhaps you can try to contact them for more information.

Alternately, you can try a Shinco generic method:
  • Eject the disc tray on the DVD player;
  • On the remote control, push SETUP;
  • Enter the PREFERENCES menu;
  • Scroll down to the DEFAULTS option;
  • Select the RESET option and push ENTER.
  • Then push SETUP to exit the menu.
Should this be not corrective, pls try 0, 0, 0, 0 or 1, 2, 3,4 as the code. If still a no-go, am afraid your back to reaching Shinco.

Hopethis be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up orshould you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.Thank you for using FixYa.
