Webroot ativirus will not install took control of my comp.since

Webroot Anti-Virus and Kaspersky Anti-Virus are two programs that do the same thing and therefore can lead to problems when you have both of them installed. If Webroot is the one you want to install then try uninstalling Kaspersky first by going to Start/Control Panel/Uninstall a program, then find Kaspersky on the list and highlight it and choose uninstall after this finishes, you should reboot and then try again to install Webroot.

How do i turn off Kaspersky lab to install 2009 security?

Windows Security center is not really useful, and is known to have issues sometimes detecting anti-viruses. Kaspersky suggests that you disable notifications.

To do this,

1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Security Center.

3. In the Security Center, under Resources, click Change the way Security Center alerts me.

4. In the Alert Settings dialog box, clear the Virus Protection check box, and then click OK. Thanks for using fixya....
