Sounds like your OS is corrupt! If you have your software it would be a good idea to try and backup your files first. I would then reload my OS and all of my programs. The only time that this happens is when file registry is corrupted, sometimes this is irreversable! Most times it is, best solution is to properly reinstall all programs and OS. Time consuming, but not hard a few changes in order to do so, but make certain you have all of your disks before attempting!
