Question about Refrigerators
No chance of eating too many Thanksgiving leftovers this year. Got up this morning and discovered everything in my freezer melted and everything in the fridge cool at best. Turned the temp controls all the way up and no change. The fan is running as air is coming out inside, albeit not cold air. I took off the front panel and vacuumed the coils which weren't hot or cold. Also looked at the compressor in the back. It was really hot. The fan next to the compressor was running. Sears repair person won't be out for another three days. Any ideas what might be wrong?
Fridgetech - Help!! I have a very similar problem. Our 1999 Amana BB20/ BRS20 PN 10994558 top frig lower freezer is also warm as of this morning. Fan is working but no cooling. Do you think it is relay or is compressor shot? Ideas?

By you description of the problem and this model of fridge it sounds like the the relay on the compressor has failed and will need to be replaced. Especially if this happened overnight.

Tips for a great answer:
Parrots like to eat almost everything. You can
also feed them human leftovers, as their vitamin needs are very similar to that
of a human. However, never feed them avocados, pears, chocolate, tea, coffee,
salt, uncooked potato, or alcohol because these foods can be lethal. The
majority of their diet should consist of fruit and vegetables, along with some
cheese, hard-boiled egg, chicken bone, or fish. Beyond that, you can supplement
their diet with parrot food or pellets. Another tip, parrots naturally prefer
warm foods because they come from tropical areas. Keeping this in mind, it may
help to zap the food in the microwave for a few seconds before serving it.
