Brown tint on photos with Nikon D 90

I am noticing that when i take a photo a brown spot is appearing at the bottom of the picture. it actully looks like a brownish tint (like half a circle) on every photo I take with the flash in low light or in shadows. In bright light or a white wall, i does not show. what could it be? Thanks..

Or more properly, the shadow of your lens hood.

most likely dust somewhere. Start by cleaning your lens (both front lens and the glass on the back. If this doesn't help activate the dust removal system of your sensor (see manual). If this doesn't help either you can turn your camera in to manually have your sensor cleaned. Sure it isn't your computer screen? :)
