Buddy of mine had the same thing, i looked in side and it had a fuse out. the tricky part was finding it. his had 6, two you could see the rest- well lets say you have to look and not play super man. works but i have to now find a way to re- fous it. any one how?
Well, the *easiest* fuse to check for is very near the power cord, it's a glass tube. You may need to use a q-tip to wipe the dust off to see it, but inside should be a very thin wire. If this wire is intact, then that fuse is intact. If it's broken, then that fuse needs to be replaced.

Hi, TV needs lamp replacement as existing lamp got weak or has been reached to end of its working life, please note that lamp is not dead or broken so that is why lamp lit is not lit at tv front. Hope these info will help you. Thanks.
U hear alots of clickings, when power turn on?Yes,the tv projection lamp might be dead also, require replacing? But the board call the Ballast board is 100% dead. This Ballast board job,it to help to ignite the tv projection lamp.Tries websites like Partstore.com,Ebay.com to buy parts like projection lamps and Ballast boards for DLP projection tvs brands.
I have two RCA HD52W59 TV's. I have had one for 3 years and one 4 years. The one I have had for 4 years is giving me the problem. Last week the tv turned off while watching it. It wouldnt come right back on. 10 minutes later we tried and it worked fine. the other night the kids were watching and it turned off and smelled like something burning. I tried turning it right back on and got no power at all. I tried to turn it on two days later and it made a buzzing noise and the green light went out. Never did get a picture, no powering up on the screen. Any ideas? Don't want to spend alot of money. Really loved the TV hope it isnt junk now. Better yet I hope the same thing doesnt happen to the other one I have.
Pull the three connectors to the yokes on the convergence board. If the set powers up, it's a good chance the STK392-110's need to be replaced. I fixed one today, and it has been running for 6 hours now.
DLPs have flow chart trouble shooting techniques to pinpoint exactly why your set isnt completeing the boot sequence. If you would like the service manual for your model let me know and i will post a link where you can purchase a complete one.
it is a bad fan. it also could be a power supply. Quite often the real problem is dirt clogging up the fan(s) to the
point that they need to be replaced. Operation of the set in a dirty
environment is not a good idea
it jus depends on your electronic back ground and if you have multimeter and solder equipment. or a little easier ifnyou can confirm it is the power/deflection cba it is sold as an entire assemble in this model that does not require solder work to change. big board on the right looking at from rear with large black transformer on it with red wire coming from top. a company called vance baldwin sells these parts
I have the same problem with mine. i,m pretty sure that it is the built in surge protector is bad. Try unplugging the tv for 30 seconds then plug it back in and turn it on. If your surge protector has not completely gone bad this might work a few times. mine won't turn on at all anymore.
