Water leaks into the floor wells

Based on our research the RAV4s with wet floors are usually, but not always, clogged sunroof drains or drain outlets. Other RAV4 owners found that the body trim surrounding their windshield or even the fender panel had degraded and failed, allowing water to seep in during heavy rain.

Don A has an excellent answer, but if you have a sunroof, that is more likely the reason. The pipe runs down between the door pillar and the windshield and there is often a join there which can part. Be careful with compressed air as it can blow joints apart.

leaking when it rains --if or when a/c on --or all the time ----rain check trunk -door--window seals --a/c condensation drain clog all the time heater core hose

the well under the windshield wipers is clogged up with debris remove the wipers and the grate under the wipers clean out the leaves and dirt and clear out the drain at the bottom.What is happening is the well is filling with rain water and leaking into the air vent for the heat and ac blower

start checking with soneone in car and one with a hose ,my dodge leaked at window gasket ,just do one spot at a time .

No solution here but maybe an Idea. Could be A/C condenser drain is plugged or heater core is leaking. I'm guessing it's not rain leaking in?

Check the door weather stripping for rips. If it only leaks when driving, check the floorpan for rust holes.

Hey I have the same problem, but only when it rains, it comes from the sunroof then leaks into the carpet.

pull your carpet up near the leak area and look for muddy body seams. it is possible one of the factory body seams are leaking- possibly in the cowl(under wipers) area, especially if it leaks when the car is sitting. there will be dirt/mud around the seams that are leaking. also you can check door seals by running the car on HIGH DEFROST with all doors and windows closed. spray around with a 50/50 soapy water solution. obviously bubbles will form around your leak.

let's try something here and see if works,
get a garden water hose and put the most pressure near where you see leaking water and have someone inside the car look for it.
