The printer has determined the quality of the work you are attempting to print to be substandard.

This is a standard feature on these printers.

    • Did you try cleaning the pipes on the printer? Did that help?

I hate when printers break. Why can't the companies just get them RIGHT? Canon wins again.

    • And while I sometimes like this printer, what is it with the print-heads always being too big?

The print-heads look like bobbleheads, they're so over-sized and out of proportion.

Your old printer was better.

You probably need to throw it away and buy a new one. A $79 3 year old printer? You'd pay more to replace the cartridges at this point.

    • Does the black cartridge still print the blue highlights? That's very important.

Do all your printer heads look like Reed Richards?

Is the printer in any way,.shape or form hooked up to the internet? Then it's probably read the vitriol and vile on your forums, and is seeking vengeance for those you've sinned against, Byrne.

I'd tell you to just buy a new printer, but you're so out of the comics industry that you probably couldn't afford one.

Actually, what you are seeing is a color not found in nature.
Its black with blue"Hi-Lites".

    • You know? It's jerks like you that make me think we should make mass executions legal. I mean here is a guy, who's poured his heart, soul and very life into his work, and all you guys can do is sit there and harass him from the anonymous comfort of ***********'s basements.

None of you are worthy enough to lick the mud from this man's boots, you pathetic, immoral, living abortions!

This man has a real problem with his printer, and turns to the public for help, and this is how he gets repaid?

The man whom I look to like a father. No. MORE than a father. A man who's work has pulled me from the brink of insanity or worse.

Who even though has said that I have lost respect in his eyes, I will worship to my dying day.

      Shame. SHAME upon you all!

    • if yo uare not liking printres then maybe you ar eliking other things.

Maybe the printer gasped one time too many after hearing all your anecdotes.

This is "actually" is a result of what I long ago termed "Dropout Syndrome". The cartridges on this model will make a whining noise as if their complaining about the current output of the other cartridges on the printer, but never bother to print the right way themselves. My suggestion is to remove the faulty cartridge, and have it print nothing but other people's print jobs. It will eventually fade into obscurity.

There is, unfortunately, little to do about the complaining, though. You just have to put up with it.
