Try using the phone software that came with the phone, or try downloading it from the phone manufacturers site.

My laptop says it has an invalid ip address

If the laptop's own IP address is invalid, you need to figure out where the incorrect settings are. If you're running it with a wireless adapter and a router, make sure that the network connection is set to DHCP and not to static IP address.

Probably the best course of action, especially if you're not very experienced with networks or IP addresses, is to run the New Connection Wizard, which you can access like this:
1) click on Start
2) move the mouse pointer up to Settings
3) click on Control Panel
4) double click on Network Connections
5) click on File
6) click on New Connection
7) follow the instructions.

I hope that helps! Good luck.

Error code 37

Hi there
The Code 37 error may occur when the concerned device is not connected to the system correctly and when its driver is faulty. A code 10 error is common when you add or remove USB devices or video & sound cards to and from your PC. When these errors occur, you may receive the error message given below.
Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)
To resolve code 37 errors, first ensure that your device is properly connected to your system. For instance, check all the cables of your printer or check that your sound or video adaptor is properly seated in its slot.
Try to remove and reinstall the device, and run the Add New Hardware Wizard from the Control Panel to see if Windows detects and installs it. If this does not resolve the issue, then update the device driver by performing the following steps:
  1. Open Control Panel and select System.
  2. In the System Properties dialog box, select Hardware tab, and then click on the Device Manager tab.
  3. Scroll down the Device Manager window and identify the faulty hardware from the list.
  4. Right-click on the hardware and select Update Driver.
  5. Follow the screen instructions to resolve the error.
If these steps do not resolve your error, then the problem might be with your device. Get it checked by an authorized technician.

Good luck

USB Hardware Installation Problem

Try the following:

To fix the Error 13: Data is invalid problem, go to Start, Run... and type "REGEDT32.EXE" without the quotes to run the Registry Editor. Navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ENUM\PCI and you will see a number of keys of the form "VEN_xxxx", where xxxx are strings like "1102&DEV_0004&SUBSYS_00011103&REV_04".
Under each of these folders will be another folder with a long numerical name.
Open each folder and look for the "DeviceDesc" which matches the hardware you are trying to install.
HIGHLIGHT THE ENTRY "VEN_xxxx" for that device and select 'SECURITY'-'PERMISSIONS' FROM THE WINDOW TOP MENU and then tick "Allow" for "Full Control".
Close REGEDT32 and then continue with the installation of your device.
This wil lremove the Error 13: Data is invalid from your wnidows 2000 / 2K / XP system. Repeat this for each hardware device you get the Error 13: Data is invalid problem with.

Mouse and key board are frozen

I have been a pc specialist for 14 years, and have seen this problem many times! sometimes there is a work around, most times the motherboard is damaged! you could try to find a used motherboard but may be no better off! you must weigh the cost of repair and used parts against the cost of a new notebook! I believe this to be a chipset failure.try removing memory modules and re-installing same.or try other modules if available.good luck!glen!
