If you are unable to establish a video link to Camera 2, there may be an issue with the connection or with the camera itself. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Make sure that the camera is turned on and properly connected to the device you are trying to link it to.
  2. Check the connections between the camera and the device to make sure that they are secure and functioning properly.
  3. If you are using a wireless connection, make sure that the camera is within range of the device and that there are no obstructions blocking the signal.
  4. Try restarting both the camera and the device to see if that resolves the issue.
  5. If the problem persists, there may be an issue with the camera itself. You may want to try contacting the manufacturer for further assistance.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or if you are having trouble establishing a video link to Camera 2, don't hesitate to ask.

How do I connect a camera to my pavilion n5430?

Follow these steps :
1

Identify the ports you have on your computer and video camera. Typically there will be a small door or flap at the rear or near the bottom that covers the ports. You computer may have ports in the front as well as the rear. You video camera may have more than one of these ports and may not have all of them.
2
Find the i.LINK port. i.LINK is
version of IEEE-1394 standard (aka) Firewire. It is commonly found on DV (Digital Video) varieties of camcorders. You may find the smaller 4 pin connector on your camera if it is a compact video camera. Typically the larger 6 pin variety is found on computers and larger camcorders. i.LINK transfers both video and audio. For more information click on "How i.LINK Works" in the Resources section.
3
Find the USB port. USB (Universal Serial Bus) is another connector like i.LINK for transferring digital video and audio. Typically a mini USB connector such as the "Mini-A" will be found on your camcorder than large flat "Type A" connector typically found on computers.
4
Locate the S-Video jack. The S-Video jack is a round 4 pin analog connector. S-Video is for only video transmission. You will need to connect the red and white audio RCA jacks or use a phono port to transfer the audio to your computer.
5
Find RCA Audio/Video Jacks. These round single pin ports usually are found in a set of three of different colors. Yellow is video, red is for right audio, and white is for left audio. On some Handycam's, there may be a mini-plug that is an all in one Audio/Video jack that you plug in a special cable (as seen in the photo) that connects your camera to standard yellow, red, and white RCA jacks on your computer.
6
Choose a matching pair of ports you have on both your computer and your camcorder.
7
Turn both your computer and camcorder off.
8
Connect your computer and camcorder with the appropriate cable. Turn on both your camcorder and your computer.

How can i use my sony w120 digital camera as a web camera

1. Sony digital still cameras are not supported for use as a Webcam. To video conference, use a dedicated Webcam or video camera that supports this function.
The MHS-PM1 and MHS-CM1 Webbie HD™ MP4 cameras support video conferencing.
Refer the link:

2. The camera is not supported for use as a webcam.

Work Around:

The only way that it may work is if you were to connect the camera to the computer via an analog video cable (yellow RCA cable) and/or audio (red and white RCA cables) for those models where audio signal transfer is also available. computer must have the ability of accepting input from these analog RCA plug(s).

To connect a digital camera for video conferencing follow this procedure:

1. Plug in the AC Adapter and set the Power/Function dial to Camera.

2. Connect an A/V cable from the Video OUT on the camera to the Video IN on the computer.

3. Within the third party software, select Composite as the input source.

You may also use Net Meeting Software that is preinstalled in the Windows Operating System.

Question

Follow the instructions below and it will work.

Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program.

When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.

Then to use it on the Web, do this.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

1. After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
2. Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.
3. Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on “ “Action.”
4. Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting” and follow the instructions.
NOTE: Your audio and video should work. Enjoy.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

D. AIM (AOL) Messenger

1. On the VIM sign-in window click on Edit.
2. Then click on Settings Enhanced IM.
3. Next click on Enhanced IM.
4. Then click on Audio Video.
5. The Audio and Video portion has drop downs so you can select the proper audio card and video camera installed in you computer.
The Audi Video drop downs are
Microphone
Speaker
Camera

Adjust Your Audio and Video Settings:
In order to adjust your audio and video settings, please follow the steps given below:
1. Click the Audio and Video Settings button directly below the My Buddy or My Camera window. If you are currently participating in an AOL Live Video IM session, a message will display: You must disconnect the current AOL Live Video IM conversation before running setup. Would you like to disconnect now? Click the Yes button.
2. The Audio and Video Tuning Wizard will appear to help you verify that your camera, speakers and microphone are working properly. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Notes:
· The first time you use AOL Live Video IM, a message will display: Would you like to first check your audio and video settings? Click the Yes button. The Audio and Video Tuning Wizard will appear to help you verify that your camera, speakers and microphone are working properly. Follow the on-screen prompts.
· images in AOL Live Video IM may appear reversed, or as a mirror image (text may appear backwards) when you look at your own camera feed or at the picture-in-picture (PIP) display.

Hope this helps. Bud

Can't turn on my camera!

Hi..

I have a link and some information I found on the video option to your camera. This link is for the manual located on hp.com:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?product=371583&lang=en&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&

The following is how to stop video:
To stop recording video, press and release the Video
button again; otherwise, the video will continue recording
until the camera runs out of memory.

NOTE
If you have set the camera to Self-Timer or Self-Timer -
2 Shots (see Using the Self-Timer Settings on page 44),
the camera will start recording 10 seconds after you press
the Video button. However, with the Self-Timer - 2 Shots
setting, the camera only records one video clip.

After recording has stopped, the first frame of the video clip
appears on the Image Display. While it is processing, you can
delete the video clip by pressing the Menu/OK button

Good luck and please let me know if there is anything else i can hep you with--feedback would be geat.. thanks, d
