There are two manuals for the 766 on this page.

My problem is figuring out how to take it apart.

I have a Poulan 5020AV. The thing cuts wood like a woodchuck on crack! The problem I'm having is regarding the reassembly of the handle/trigger mechanism. I took it apart in order to remove/clean the carb....

Anytime I get into an unfamiliar saw I always take a number of pictures with the I-phone to help with reassembly. Not too much help is it?

It will only go together correctly ONE way. Do not force any of the parts as if you bend the carb linkage, you will forever have a problem with it. A hint: sometimes the parts have to be inverted and slowly twisted or turned back upright to install.

Assembly instructions for reassembly. I had to disassemble glue to clean and the spring popped out and I am not sure how it goes back together

the spring goes behind the trigger, but i would need to know the brand and model glue gun to really help with this problem

I have a beeman rs1 chinease air rifle is the trigger adjustable and if so How?

Yes they are adjustable, both 1st and 2nd stage and also trigger weight.
The trigger group is easily disassebled and honed with fine emery paper. You really dont need a mirror surface but the factory surface is very far from smooth. There are som sharp corners on the sear and the trigger lever, DO NOT ROUND THEM.
Pay close attention to the three small springs inside, if you get them mixed up the rifle will not lock.
This work will make all the difference in your rifle.
Just work slowly and with caution not to change the angles in the trigger geometry, all you want to do is polish the surface.

Trouble reassembling a daisy buckmaster 840 bb gun. We can not figure out the trigger mechanism in order to fit the side panels back into place.

1) Stack the trigger, seer (long black metal piece) and trigger block (large L shaped silver piece) on top of each other, with the seer in the middle.

2) You should have 3 springs, the long one attached to the end of the seer, the skinny one on the bottom of the seer and the fat one back between the trigger and trigger block on the back side

3) Compress the trigger block and the trigger together thus compressing that spring between them, keeping everything together. Now back the entire unit into the stock cavity. This is tricky and will take some practice. Be sure to keep the pieces squeezed together.

4) Insert the pin through the side which is countersunk. It only goes one way.

Crossman Sierra Pro Air rifle

The piston doesnt lock on the trigger. if trigger is adjustable set adjustment more coarse. Check also sure that trigger mechanism is in forward position and not stuck halfway. If still not hooking see if piston hooh and trigger catch not damaged. very seldom the piston will twist inside making it impossible to hook, just realign piston.
