Lexmark e450dn printer. Does not power up. Looks like blown fuse. Is there a fuse, how to get there, is there any chance to replace a fuse? Was in working condition day before.

There should be a glass fuse on the main board at the back of the machine probably somewhere below the fuser unit. It is probably a slo-blo type and would be available from most electronics stores.

How did you possible that fuse is blown up. Don't need to buy another printer, try to repair it to a Technician unless you want it to be repair. Power Failure are just only a simple problem but if you see any smoke coming out on it before it blows or any smell bad on it then I agree you have to buy a new one. Good luck!

Check the wire going into the display, these comeout easily. Otherwise there will be fuses at the back of the radio.

This is a laser unit problem, probably being caused by the laser scanner motor being slow to spin up to speed, or having failed completely.

Replacement of the laser unit is the first thing to try here.

Tenemos una impresora lexmark E450DN se bloqueo y aparece error 9222 fuser service Gracias

Service Fuser Error appears when the fuser does not warm to the required temperature. For this error on this Lexmark model T632, the manual states you should power off the printer and power it back on, and if it is not plugged into a wall power point, change it to a power point mounted directly on the wall. Personally, I never got a Lexmark printer to work doing this, but this is in the manual. If this won't help, and the printer is under warranty, you should log it in with the servicing company.

If the printer is out of warranty, your next option is to change the fuser which costs around $70 on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/LEXMARK-E450-E350-E352-40X2800-Fuser-Assembly-Warranty-/180589343591?pt=BI_Toner&hash=item2a0bf6b367

Lexmark E450dn Error msg 84 Replace Photoconductor Photoconductor has been replaced same error msg. Is there something else to look for?

No, if you changed the photoconductor kit, then you just need to reset the maintenace count for the PE Kit.

Please follow this hyperlink to the specific instructions you need on Lexmarks web site.

http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&id=HO3155&locale=EN&userlocale=EN

they are easy to follow directions and you should have no problems.

It keeps reading 935.10 service printhead in the display screen. I would like to know how to repair this issue.

Turn off printer and turn back on after 30 seconds to give it a chance to reset. Make sure the printer is plugged in straight to the power outlet in the wall. Bypass any surge devices or power strips, even if the printer previously worked correctly with these, as they can cause low amperage problem which can trigger a false printhead error. You can also try to plug the printer to another known working power outlet just to eliminate the power source as a possible cause of the issue. If error continues, printer may require service. Contact Lexmark technical support or an authorized service provider for further assistance.

Here's an article in the Lexmark website on A Printhead Error Is Appearing on a Lexmark E250d(n), E350d, E352dn, or E450dn Printer. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/9GQzbO. If all else fails, it may require service. I would also suggest you replace the power supply.

I'm working on a Lexmark E450dn that won't POST. The op panel is lit and the LED is green. Will replacing the controller card fix this?

Hi. If the LCD is lit but without character displayed, go with op panel replacement first because it could just be the LCD since it's still showing ready. Hope this helps.
