My domestic worker is retiring How does she claim the UIF I've been paying?

If she's retiring, she won't. Retirement is not considered unemployment. She can only collect from the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) if she's unemployed.

If you're trying to help her maintain an income from the funds you've paid in, then she will have to become unemployed and fill out an unemployment application.

In order to do this, you'll have to say you had no further need of her service and let her go, and she will have to say she was let go through no fault of her own and is now out of work and unable to find other employment.

What does" there are no issues pending in your claim" means in unemployment terms

Means there is no problems, everything with your claim is going through fine. generally means you just need to wait and all will be good. if There is am Issue you have to fix that issue before your next check or there will be delays.
