How do i connect an hp officejet printer to a wireless laptop

Download and install the drivers & software necessary for your printer from HP's website (www.hp.com) on your laptop. After the software and/or drivers are installed, connect the printer to the laptop with a usb cable. As long as the software is installed the pc should recognize the printer as soon as the usb cable is connected. Then just print as normal.

After loading the software the device won't scan from the HP director although it will copy

2.uninstall your printer from your pc
3.run setup from printers cd or from the driver you can
download from Hp official site
4.follow the setup steps
5.only connecte your printer to pc when setup ask you to do

Is the hp officejet 6110 printer wireless?

No, Hp Officejet 6110 Printer has no wireless feature. I hope you know it has ethernet feature.

When I try to scan I get the message " can not connect to pc" every thing elese works on the printer.

Your printer takes a 31VDC 1400 ma power adapter.

Take a look at the Setup Guide:

Zoom in on Step 7. It shows where the power supply connects and also shows the requirements.

The printer needs to be installed by you as "Adiministrator". When installing the printer you need to hold down the "Alt" button when clicking n Add Printer function. It will then give an option of installing as Administrator.

Cannot connect 6150 printer

You should install the drivers first and then plug the printer in.
If you are trying to connect the printer by wireless, then you need a wireless print server to make that connection as you printer is not a wireless printer.

Lets read the manual, offjet, ALL_IN-ONE 8110 , right.
16 years old (2002) today, and no wireless in that printer
I guess, you meant how to make your unstated laptop do wifi
then connect (wires) the printer to the laptop.
And use the LAPTOP share this printer to others?

To get my connection to work, I had to configure my Netopia DSL modem for Bridged Mode and let my router take care of the routing and address assignment. I would also try to get a working connection before configuring security. You can always do that later. You have the order of powering up you equipment correct. Read this link. It works for me.
