Hey my friends keyboard is typing letters

It may be that the default settings for the keyboard have been set to a different language/regional area.

You could try changing it and see if it works.

If you wish to change the keyboard layout, you can do this by right clicking on your taskbar and select "language bar". When this is done, right click on the keyboard symbol and select "settings".

Alternatively, go start>control panel>regional settings> and change it there.

It is working before? If the keyboard was working before, you need to advise your friend to do the following:

1. Replace the battery
2. Try connecting the receiver into different USB ports of the computer
3. Try connecting it into another computer.

Doing these steps would help you isolate the problem. If you get the same problem using another computer, you might want to verify with the manufacturer if this keyboard requires driver installation/update. If not, then it needs repair.
