2 stroke or 4 stroke
2 stroke will be mixed ratio
4 stroke will be straight fuel

SOURCE: Proper gasoline and oil mix ratio.

My echo uses 50-1 ration. Home Depot sells the small containers for Echo Leaf Blowers that you mix with one gallon of gas.

SOURCE: 11A-418A729 - straight gasoline or gas/oil mix

If it has an oil stick, it is sraight gas. No oil stick to check oil then, gas/oil mix needed.

SOURCE: I have a 1988 Ford

Hello glennsteer: My name is Roger and I will help with your question. There are several explinations for this to happen. First you did not say how well the engine is running. I will guess not very well. First thing to do is unplug the fuel pressure regulator. This will be located on the fuel rail. It usually is crome and has a vacuum hose attached. Do this with the engine off, remove the vacuum hose and turn on the key.Check for any fuel coming from regulator. Should there be any leak replace the regulator. If the regulator is ok than look further. You will need a fuel pressure test gage. Place the gauge on the fuel rail test port. Turn the key on engine off. Fuel pressure should be 35-45 psi. and hold. If the pressure drops off quickly you most likely have a bad injector. THe injector will stick open and cause the plug to foul out. Most of the time if you remove the plugs you will find the wet plug. This would be the place to start. I would also check the compression on the wet cylinder.Any cylinder with less than 100 psi. will not fire the cylinder.
Any of the above problems will cause fuel to reach the oil pan as a misfire in a cylinder will wash down the cylinder wall. This will allow fuel to pass by the rings. When you find the problem and fix it change the oil and filter. Gas in the oil is not good on the engine bearings and could possibaly cause a fire. There is always more things to look at but these are the most likely.
Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

What is the mix ratio for a Johnson outboard motor?

Any Johnson outboard motor built since 1964 requires a 50/1 fuel ratio. Motors built prior to that date require a 32/1 ratio, with the exception of a few fishing motors built prior to 1955 that use a 16/1 ratio.

I want to know is it true that 4stroke motor uses only benzin or it can use benzin+oil? I have buy scooter ZN50QT-19 and i dont know which kind of fuel he uses :)He is 4 stroke

All four stroke motors use straight gasoline or benzin. Only 2-stroke engines use a gas (benzin) + oil mix. Even some later model 2-stroke engines run straight gasoline and have a pump that mixes the oil with the gasoline. Most 2-strokes built after the mid-70's have the pump. You can easily by examination of the throttle cable. If it's equipped with a pump, the throttle cable will split from one cable on down to two cables where it enters the engine. Read your owner's manual.
