Question about Washing Machines
The washing machine is locked and I can't unlock it. What do I do?
There is a panel below the door. at the botton of the panel there are 3 screws. remove the screws take panel off. on the right hand side youll find a plastic cord. pull the cord to unlock door manually

check that the machine ramps up to spin speed reasonably and distributes the clothes- ie doesn't spring straight up to spin speed. if this is ok then the fault may well be the shock absorbers located at the bottom of the machine and going from base to tub. check also that the counterweights are intact

take the kick panel off and reach up the right side where the door lock is. there is a release pull down that releases the door.
