I70 Canon photo printer will not print after changing print cartridge.

Check the black cartridge and make sure the orange or yellow tape at the rear end is not still attached. If it covers the small hole on the top of the cartridge, the printer won't print black text.

Help! I changed the printer cartridge in my HP2300dtn and now it prints horizontal black lines and black background every 1.5". Text prints perfectly despite almost the whole page being blacked out.

This is usually caused by an issue with the contacts for the drum. Remove and reseat the cartridge and if possible, put your old cartridge in so that you can determine if the problem is the printer or the cartridge. When issues start just after changing cartridge, I always look first to the cartridge.

Printer black toner cartridge was recently replaced. Now all black items print "light". Not as dark as before. How to fix??

If you have changed only the black cartridge and this started to happen, you can be sure that it's a cartridge problem, not in the printer. First of all try changing it for another one, or talk to the person who sold you that!

Not printing anything but bold black strips

you need to check if the cartridge is ok. take out the cartridge and reboot your printer. if it ask for a cartridge, turn off the printer and install the cartridge., if problem still persists, then try changing your cartridge with a new one. If problem still persists, i suggest reinstall the drivers of the printer. Pm me if your problem is solved. thank you .

My printer has an almost full black cartridge but will not print.

Check the ink lines, the printer head might be clogged, If thats not fixing anything then check your printer settings on the computer and remove the color option. Changing it to black and white can somtimes just be from color, not just black.

My printer will not accept a new black cartridge.

ITS NOT THE BLACK CARTRIDGE!!! Try changing the colour cartridge and see what happens. When a 9600 checks ink levels it does the black ink first, then the colour, if the colour is low it goes back and checks the black again but will constantly give an error message for the black cartridge. Sounds bizarre but try just the black cartridge in with no colour. print a test page in black only, if that does not print then it is a fault. Also make sure the driver is updated!!!
