well, first you should see if it needs charging. Then turn on the ds and touch the little ds on the bottom of the screen. Go to the calibrate or the thing that is on the right side of the person. Try thr test and dont stop it until its over. Try touching the screen again but if that doesnt work call nintendo which the number is in the manual or find it at www.nintendo.com. See if that works.
i had some trouble with my ds, and so i killed the battery. you have to stop charging it and leave it on with full sound to down the battery faster. keep doing this untill when you turn it on it shuts off by it's self imediately. leave it alone for a week or so and then check and see if you can turn it back on. if it won't even light up for a moment when you hit power you've done it right.
WARNING: this will erase all saved data for all games on the ds.
you can now plug it into the wall and let it charge for at least 5mins. keep it pulgged in and turn it on. it should show the settings menu for birthday, time, etc. just like when you first took it out of the box.
this will reset the ds to factory settings, and should alow you to change the time.
NOTE: only do this if the time is REALLY bothering you.
With white screens it usually the LCD that went out, since D.S. do not have a reset button, the only way to reset it to Factory settings would be to remove that battery, and you would need to remove the little screws on the back. I would leave that last. However if you guys have had this DS for less than a year i would contact Nintendo, or go to the website because you would still be under the one year Manufactures warranty. I would highly recommend to not state it was dropped. Just that the screen went blank all of a sudden. Touch screen works fine. Make sure there is no physical damage though, as that usually voids warranty. I had to do that for my Wii. No cost to me since under one year. If its been longer then the year then you could do the hard reset by removing the batter for a few mins. Good Luck!
okay all you will need to do is un skrew the back and where the battery is there is this hole and you will need to take a q-tip and put some water with some dish cleaner and put the q-tip in the hole and move it around and it will work just fine...
try this: hold A and B then turn ur ds on then when the ds logo appears hold start and select while still holding A and B then when the: this product is not licensed of endorced by nintendo: comes up release all buttons.. hope this works
Ok i'm sorry to say but what you did is corrupted the a. I had this same problem...but i have a solution. For the most part its simple all you do is as the ar is loading you press A B START and SELECT at the same time and hold untill you see the main screen then that has restarted your Action Replay Device. I have tried this my self and it may take a couple tries to get it just right so repeat if necessary.
You can try taking apart the console and cleaning the connections for the sholder buttons. You also should be making sure they are springy and connect to the board properly. The ones that I have repaired with this problem have all been cleanings. You can find video disasembly tutorials by googling around with "take apart ds." If this is a DS-Lite, then just follow the same instructions but google DS-Lite instead of DS.
