SOURCE: Kenmore 70 series Model: 22702 100 Series CL2738136 Type 111 will not hold water

the drain pipe in the wall needs to be as tall as the cabnet of the washer. if it is the see how much hose is going into the drain pipe. should only be about 9 to 12 inches into the pipe. any more than that will cause a syphon and suck the water out as it fills

SOURCE: What is the date of manufacturing based on the serial number of my Kenmore 70 series washer?

Tyler,
It came off of the Clyde, OH production line the 26'th week of 2001.

Amazing, ain't it? Seriously... the info is embedded in the serial number. Here's the link to the code sheet.

Please remember to rate this solution as "FixYa", OK?

SOURCE: it is a door switch for Kenmore 80 series top load

I'm not sure what your question is but following is the Sears parts site for your washer.

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?pop=true&modelNumber=110.25842400

If you look in the top and cabinet section, you'll see a description of the Lid Switch.

If you need to replace it, you'll have to remove the cabinet first.

Following is a site with a description of how to do it.

Oil leak 2000 alero, just replaced plug, not it, leaked out all the oil after I drove it 20 miles, please help, could it be a gasket or what

Check the oil filter. The old gasket might be stuck on the engine (two gaskets stuck together), or the new gasket might be defective, misaligned or missing.

I have kenmore washer ser#cs3726779 type 111 and it won't spin and has an oil leak uner it--can it be fixed economically or not?

if this is an older machine, it may not be cost effective. This sounds like the transmission is leaking and it will eventually fail.

Whirlpool Washer Model:LSN1000KQ0,SER: CM4267948, Type: 111 - Need nylon gear in transmission gearbox.

From the information provided, it sounds like you need WPL 285362 (gear and pinion kit) which you can find at appliancehelp.com for $59.95. You can type in your washer model and see the diagram of each part before ordering so you get exactly what you need.

with the machine off, turn the cycle dial around 3x very harshly, then try it again. If it works normally now, you'll need a new cycle switch soon!

2008 Yahama 90 2 stroke outboard lower unit fluid leak

Ok by fluid I assume it is gear oil leaking yes?
There is every chance there is the smallest seal leak there that may only be present once the gear case gets a little pressure in it, either through use, or through expansion as the leg heats sitting in the sun even. Have you got a new washer installed under this screw to properly seal it? Usually a nylon type washer is best.

Also, how do you know the lower unit is not leaking or have water intrusion? Have you drained the gearbox oil recently? If so what color was the oil, milky looking at oil or good semi-transparent oil color?
