the drain pipe in the wall needs to be as tall as the cabnet of the washer. if it is the see how much hose is going into the drain pipe. should only be about 9 to 12 inches into the pipe. any more than that will cause a syphon and suck the water out as it fills

I'm not sure what your question is but following is the Sears parts site for your washer.
If you look in the top and cabinet section, you'll see a description of the Lid Switch.
If you need to replace it, you'll have to remove the cabinet first.
