Question about Desa International White Wireless Plug In Door Chime
SL-6195-RX seems three houses have the same chime, how do I change the ring? I can't find the instructions? The doorbell itself has 3 covered 6,7,8, the other 5 double pins are uncovered. The big unit has four of the double pins covered, and four uncovered. The big unit does not have the pins numbered.
Open up both the button and the main unit and switch the codes with the pins. It done on a row of pin sets - Default is usually connectors on 5-6-7 (8 is on the main bell unit and causes the ding-**** to change to a Westminster chime).
With a pair of needle nose pliers pull the connector and set them on different numbers. You must do this on both pieces, When you have a unique code its no longer an issue with the neighbors.
