Have you looked on the Carb itself? If you look closely you should see a name and some type of marking of the model number.
Also look up the model number of your blower at www.managemyhome.com and you should be able to the owners manual from there (which should have it).

I have been trying to help you. It appears that the "pony" model has submodels as well I will send you this link and please post back with which model is yours. Model numbers are the BIGGEST help I get, because I can research this machine all day and not have the correct carburetor for your exact model. Here are the current Troy Bilt "Pony" Tillers for sale on the net.

Again, please reply. I will get your reply and continue to assist you. Thanks!

I need a parts and owners manuel for a Super Tomahak Wood chipper made by Garden Way Mfg. Co. where do I go to get one?

Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.

Go to this site:

http://www.brentchalmers.com/

I note your looking for the Super Tomahawk. If you can come up with a model number I think I can find your parts manual for sure. (or at least an on-line parts list.) Also.... If you can come up with an engine number like OH120 or L90 off of the engine I can find you a manual for the engine also.

This is the list of Manuals available there:

  • 1983 W-W Grinder Inc. Manual and Parts List Super Tomahawk 5-8-2G/C and Tomahawk 5-8-2G/M Chipper/Shredder (40 Pages)
  • 1989 Troy-Bilt Owner/Operator Manual Junior Tomahawk Chipper/Shredder (24 Pages)
  • 1989 Troy-Bilt Technical Manual 4HP, 5HP, & 8HP Models Tomahawk Chipper/Shredder (12 Pages)
  • 1991 Troy-Bilt Owner/Operator Manual Junior Tomahawk Chipper/Shredder (24 Pages)
  • 1991 Troy-Bilt Knife Kit number 1772231 (1 Page)
  • 1992 Troy-Bilt 5HP Model Service Kit (Part Nos. 1901153 and 1901804) For Chipper/Vac (1 Page)
  • 1992 Troy-Bilt Owner/Operator Manual 47260, 47261, 47271, 47272 Chipper/Vac (60 Pages)
  • 1993 Troy-Bilt Sales Brochure Chipper/Vac (4 Pages)
  • 1993 Troy-Bilt Owner/Operator Manual 47265, 47266, 47267, 47276 Tomahawk Chipper/Shredder (44 Pages)
  • 1993 Troy-Bilt Parts Catalog 47265, 47266, 47267, 47276 Tomahawk Chipper/Shredder (16 Pages)
  • 1994 Troy-Bilt PTO Chipper/Shredder Owners Dog Clutch Kit 1902404 (1 Page)

  • Hopefully your model is one of the above.

Here is link to the Parts manuals:

    http://www.partsandservice.com/html/TroyBilt/cs/

There are 90 parts manuals there.

Again with a good model and engine number I can probably come up with your exact manuals.

    Thanks for chosing FixYa,

    Kelly

I have a Troy-Bilt mower 5.5HP Model #:12A-264u011 While i was mowing it just died and when I pushed the primer it wasn't getting any fuel

Sounds like you will need to clean your carburetor.
Be sure to use compressed air to blow out all the fuel and air passages.
Sometimes you can get by with priming the carburetor a few times, and letting it run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets, but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
If the mower/weedeater is over a couple years old, then I also recommend that you buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, You will first seat the jet screws and count the number of turns it takes to seat the jets from their original position.
That way when you go to put the jets back in, you know how many turns they were in/out.
    Please rate me

31 cc leaf blower won't start. After many pulls it sounds like it might want to fire but only for about a second and then nothing.

This is probably a fuel delivery issue....carburetor related. My experience with these engines was that it needed the carburetor rebuilt. There are diaghram and rebuild kits available for these and at most you would maybe spend $15 for the kit. Rebuilds have more parts but diaghram kits sometimes cure the problem and cost less. All diaghram kit parts are included in a rebuild kit also.

Try mixing up some fresh gas mixture if it is over 30 days old it is considered bad gas. Or the carburetor may need to be rebuilt.
