Question about Sonic Computers & Internet

Im missing Sonic installation pkg.

Im missing the folder that contains the installation package "MyDVD.MSI", I hadn't used Sonic in a while, I had installed an Error Fix program that seems to have removed my file. When I start Sonic, it goes right into trying to install MyDVD Plus, then I get the error that the folder containg the installation pagkage is unavailable.

If you want I can provide you a copy of MyDVD.msi, but it is version 6. If you would like me to give you the file just tell me and I will upload it.

How do I retrieve Sonic MyDVD which was bundled into my computer after a computer crash?

When you bought your computer should should have also received some CDs with any software that you purchased or that were included with your package. Sometimes you will get the original software CDs (which you can use to reinstall the software) and sometimes you will get a "recovery" CD created by your computer manufacturer which may contain the files you need to re-install multiple software applications. Look through your stuff that you got with your computer... it should be in there somewhere.

I need to find an installation package containing EZARC.msi

Link up to www.nodevice.com and look for driver (xxx.msi) and download it. This might solve the problem of your machine.
Second, boot your CD (OS) that is provided by the company when you purchased the machine. Open the CD and look for the driver you're looking for. Repair it.

Thanks.

HP Digital Media Archive Pop UP

Reinstall Sonic MyDVD from the Application Recovery. A lot of HP computers have done this or produced that constant pop up.

If that doesn't work, go to:

Start > Run and type in msconfig in the box.
Then click the Startup tab and uncheck the box beside DMA (digital media archive)
Click Apply then Close. Reboot when prompted and you shouldn't get that annoying pop up any longer.

If you don't even use the Sonic MyDvD program on the computer, just uninstall Sonic completely from Add/Remove.

Adobe installation

Create a new folder on your c: drive and call it downloads (c:\downloads), then browse to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
and click download now.
Save the file in the downloads folder you just created.
Open AdbeRdr90_en_US.exe in the downloads folder you just created.

That will give you the latest version and you should no longer have that problem.

HP Digital Media Archive Pop UP

THE FILE IS CORRUPT OR HAS BEEN ERASED THAT'S WHY

-> Click start > all programs > HP Application Recovery

-> When the Application Recovery console comes up, choose Application Installation then click NEXT.

-> When the list comes up, highlight Roxio DigitalMedia Archive by clicking on it, then click the "Install" button.

It should re-install Digital Media Archive, and fix your EZARC.msi search issue or problem.

I HOPE THIS HAD FIXED YOUR PROBLEM... ;)
