Have you tried a restore in iTunes? Also, when you say your phone was hacked, do you mean that you jailbreak your iphone or someone hacked into your phone?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is the sim card installed belongs to the wireless company that the iPhone is locked to, or is the iPhone sim free?
If not, try contacting the company that the iPhone is locked to to try to unlock the iPhone to sim free, or get a sim that belongs to the company.

Iphone wont recognise sim

when you upgrade to ios 5 its no longer jailbroken and therefore your sim isn't being recognize. as probably your iphone is locked to at&t or verizon while your sim is from a different company then the lock.

Iphone keeps telling me my SIM card is not recognised. I take it out and then put it back in. It gets recognised initially, but sooner or later (1 min - 1 hour) it will go back to not being recognised....

Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

Updated iphone not working display only emergency

What You gotta do is...1. Google Blackra1n. 2. download it!! 3.open the blackra1n. 4. Click make it rain 5. wait for iphone to reboot. 6. Enjoy your re-hacked iphone.
Be sure to do this process with your Invalid sim card.
What happened?
When you updated your iphone the hack was un-done. Apple also has a software that senses when you are updating a hacked iphone. The software turns your iphone into a nice brick.
This should work!!!

I upgraded my iphone and not recognizing my sim card???

you need to talk to your carrier and get a new SIM card, it will not work w/o the appropriate card. I had the same issue when moving from a 1st gen to a 3Gs and ended up going to the store... )-; hope that helps.

Problem with iphone Firmware version is 04.02.13_G for V1.1.2

The software (firmware) in an iPhone is designed to detect (indeed reject) tampering. It is only available (full-featured) in the United States of America. Apple is planning on marketing other countries, but hasn't done so yet. Until they do, the most reliable 'fix' for your issues will be from hackers, most of whom aren't the least bit reliable. The most you'll be able to do is use it as a phone and send and receive text. Most of the high-tech features that make an iPhone desirable won't work until the network supports it, even if you do find a way to hack the software. Many users in the USA have found that hacking their iPhone has made their phones useless, since the system is designed to detect and reject service requests from iPhones using pirate software.
